Welcome!

While finishing my last semester at WSU, I had stumbled across some fares British Airways was putting on special to help boost travel to the UK. Fares for as low as $500 roundtrip from Seattle. We would never see such a good deal ever again. So Andrew and I quickly snatched up tickets and decided to head over during my spring break so that I was not missing any classes and it was perfect for Andrew to take off work. We booked our travel for the week and headed off.

At first, we budgeted $500 for our 9 days in the UK, only to realise the British Pound would destroy us financially against the American dollar ($1USD equalled .50 pence). So a cup of coffee at Starbucks that cost us 4 quid equated to about $8USD. After this stunning realisation, we sat down to re-think our finances and plot out our travels while in rainy UK. And at that, we decided Stonehenge, Isle of Wight, City of Bath and of course, London.

Hope you enjoy my blog on London!
